UPDATES

Another day, another update from the Battle Kards team!

Right now, we’re putting a lot of time and attention into the card illustrations that will be part of the game. We want every card to feel unique, exciting, and meaningful when you see it in your hand and use it during a match.

For us, it’s not just about making the cards look good. We’re working on the artwork, details, colors, and overall style to make sure each Kards feels like it belongs in the world of Battle Kards and gives you that extra excitement when you play it.

We’re still working behind the scenes and there’s a lot more to improve, but little by little, the game is coming together. We can’t wait for you to finally see these Kards in action and experience the game for yourself.

More updates are coming soon, so stay tuned with us!

Effort of our team.

We’re putting a lot of time, effort, and passion into creating Battle Kards, and we’re really excited to share it with you all.

As we mentioned, we’re planning to launch the game in the coming months. But before we release it, there are still some bugs, errors, and gameplay details that we need to fix and improve. Since we’re a small team working hard to bring this game to life, it’s taking us a little more time than we originally expected.

We truly appreciate your patience and support while we work behind the scenes to make Battle Kards the best experience we can. We don’t want to rush out the launch; we want to make sure it’s something you’ll genuinely enjoy playing.

There’s still a lot more to come, so stay tuned and follow along with us on this journey. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.

New Gameplay on the horizon

We initially had built a different game at the start , we tested it, played it but got stuck at a dead end.We therefore decided to change our approach of the game entirely. It was only about a month ago the game finally re-done from scratch slowly came together. We sat down read through history , cultures and came to an conclusion to finally build. The game has been inspired by genres and games we all grew up playing. We took inspiration from quake 3 capture the flag, pokemon battles and dante's inferno. We play tested it with our friends , strangers and got a good gameplay out it. We finalized our 27 captains and the 9 realms. But we are more excited to share this journey with fellow gamers from all around the world.

The Battlefield Beneath the Kards

Every card game needs a place where the battle happens. For Battle Kards, we wanted that place to feel like part of the world not just somewhere to put cards.

Board

This is the main Battle Kards board. It's where the cards come to life, where players make their moves, and where all those carefully planned strategies can completely fall apart. When we started designing the board we thought of games we had played like Catan, Tokaido and Deception:Murder in HongKong. We didnt want something that felt too clean and mordern and wanted a bit of history inspired by temples and carvings in wood. That's where the wooden center came in.

The carved patterns, clouds, and small details are there to give the board a handcrafted feeling. The little world symbol in the middle is another part of that idea: this isn't just a table you're playing on. It's the battlefield where the different Kards and their stories meet. Then there's the teal frame around everything.

And honestly, we're still working on it.

A board can look great as a standalone image, but the real test is what it feels like when you're actually playing on it. You may have a lot of questions like

Where do the cards go?

How much of the board should stay visible?

How should the battlefield react when something happens?

How do we make the board feel alive without taking attention away from the cards?

Those are the little things we're figuring out as we build BattleKards.

And we're pretty excited to see what kind of chaos eventually happens on it

Build your deck and battle

Frame 54

The Kards have arrived. Are you ready to play your hand?Every great battle starts with a strategy.

Our journey begins with a simple idea: what if every card in your deck could completely change the way you play? That's what we've been building.Welcome to our new turn-based deck-building card game, where your choices matter, your deck is your weapon, and every turn gives you a chance to outsmart your opponent.

Your Deck. Your Strategy.Building a deck isn't just about collecting the strongest Kards but it's about finding the cards that work together and can help beat other players. Some Kards can deal heavy damage. Others can protect you, weaken your opponent some turns need to be sacrifieced for a better hit or a chance to KO them. The real challenge is discovering combinations that fit your playstyle and knowing exactly when to play them.

A great deck can give you the tools you need.A great strategy is what wins the battle.

This isn't a game where you simply throw cards and hope for the best.Take your time. Look at the board. Think about your opponent's next move. Decide whether you want to attack, defend, set up your next play, or save a powerful Kard for the perfect moment. One decision can change everything.Sometimes the smartest move isn't the strongest attack, it's the move that leaves your opponent with nowhere to go.Collect. Unlock. Build.Your collection will continue to grow as you play.

Discover new Kards, experiment with different combinations, and keep building your collection through the Game Store. As you unlock more cards, you'll have more possibilities to explore and more ways to create your own unique deck.Your collection isn't just a list of cards. It's your toolbox for battle. Rise Through the RanksThink you've mastered your deck?Put it to the test.

Battle other players, improve your strategy, and climb through the ranks. Every opponent brings a different playstyle, which means every battle is another opportunity to learn, adapt, and become better.

And if you're building something bigger than yourself, Guilds give you a place to do it.

Build your Guild. Bring your people together. Make your mark.

We're just getting started.New Kards, new strategies, new battles, and new ways to play are waiting ahead. Whether you're here to build the perfect deck, compete with other players, collect every Kard you can find, or simply enjoy the chaos of a great battle there's a place for you here.

Are you ready to play your hand?where strategy, collection, and competition come together.

Presenting four Game currencies of Battle kards

Hello Fellow Gamers!! Battle Kards has 4 currencies that you'll see below. Let me give you a quick summary on what they do and how they are earned.
First we have the coins.

coins

Coins are one of the core resources in Battle Kards. You can get them by beating you opponent in a battle and can be used to support your progression throughout the game. It is used for unlocking goods in our store to get captains, card skins and rare event cards and so much more.

Second we have Crystals.

Krystals

Crystal is Battle Kard's most premium currency, forged for the moments that truly matter. It's rarer and more valuable than coins. Crystal isn't something you stumble into, you have to earn it through shared strategy with you fellow guild mates. It helps you to level up your guild to progress onto other realms. Crystals can be mined from captured shrines and strongholds. Save it. Spend it wisely.

Third we have Resonance.

Resonance

Resonance is one of Battle Kards' most interesting mechanics. It is used to capture shrines and strongholds that you can come across regions within a realm. Resonance cannot be bought in our store so you have to fight your battles to get them and comes in handy as you discover new systems unlocking as you play the game. Captured Shrines and Stronghold help to mine crystals. It is also used to contest for 3 player battle for a captured stronghold by another guild. You can amass it and Let guild masters recruit you!!

Fourth we have XP.

XP

In Battle Kards, it's a decision mechanic. XP helps you progress in Ranking levels. Ranking up can unlock better goods at our store. You can get XP's through game play battle no matter if you win or lose those battles XP is still up for grabs. When you reach a certain rank in our game you get to build guilds with our fellow players . So keep a look out for XP's in the game

Battle Kards — We’re Back ⚔️

It’s been a little while since our last update, but development on Battle Kards hasn’t stopped. We’ve been working behind the scenes to shape the game, refine its systems, and bring our ideas closer to the experience we want players to have.

The last few days have been pretty quiet from our side, but that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped. We’ve been spending time behind the scenes working on the game, testing ideas, and figuring out how we want Battle Kards to grow.

We know waiting without many updates isn’t easy, so thank you to everyone who has continued to follow us and support the project.

We’re excited to start sharing again.

We’re back. And there’s a lot more Battle Kards to show you. ⚔️❤️

Welcome Everyone!!!

Hello everyone,

We’ve been working on a game for a while now, and I think it’s finally time to start talking about it. It’s called Battle Kards. Battle Kards is a turn-based fantasy card game that we’re developing at Idolrun Entertainment together with Coast 2 Coast Games. At its core, the idea is pretty simple. You build a deck, battle it out in PvP, and collect Resonance to control the map.

There are currently 25 cards in the game, which you can choose from to build a deck of 9 cards to battle. The card categories are Attack, Defence, Buff, Debuff, and Special cards. That limitation is actually one of the things we like about the game. You can't take everything with you. You have to decide. Players do get the option to swap cards if they are not working for you.

Then there are the Captains.

Each Captain has their own strengths and abilities, and choosing one changes the way you approach your deck. We wanted Captains to feel like more than just another card in your collection. They're the ones leading your deck into battle, and choosing them gives an outcome for how you play. We're still experimenting with some of these things ourselves. That's part of making a game. You make something, play it, realize something doesn't feel quite right, change it, and then play it again.

I think that's especially important for a game like Battle Kards. We don't want to build a complicated system just because we can. We want the strategy to come from the decisions the player is making and want to know how each of you would play.

And then there is Resonance.

Battles aren't completely isolated from one another. As you play, you collect Resonance and work toward controlling the map. That's probably the part of the game we're most excited about, to be honest. You can battle out on a solo journey or join a guild to capture strongholds and passes. We don't want the game to just be about winning one match and moving on to the next. We want your battles to feel like they're contributing to something.

There is still a lot we're working on....For now though

This is Battle Kards; more updates soon.
